It is a busy week here at the Publishing the Long Civil Rights Movement project. Our project partner, the Center for Civil Rights, is holding their conference “Looking to the Future: Legal and Policy Options for Racially Integrated Education in the South and the Nation” this Thursday. The conference begins at 8 a.m. and registration is required. Then, on Friday and Saturday this week, our partners at the Southern Oral History Program will be hosting the LCRM project’s conference “The Long Civil Rights Movement: Histories, Politics, Memories.” Sign-in for the conference begins at 8 a.m. Click here to see the full program.
